Pencil/Pen/Ink, Thread, Gesso on Paper
These drawings play off of the phenomenon of total internal reflection in which a wave (often of light) strikes a medium boundary at an angle that causes it to stay trapped underneath the surface. In each drawing, an initial geometric shape is drawn point to point like a constellation, then using thread I translate that form.
