Well I’ve made the move across the country and am now living in the Boston area. It took a little while to graduate with my MFA, wedding plan, get married, move across the country, and get settled in a new place, but I am finally back in the studio! You can catch my Boston debut at FPAC’s Atlantic Wharf Gallery in “...Fine.” Curt and I have a new piece and an old piece in the show, which runs through September 30th with a reception in early August. Stay tuned for reception details!
James McDevitt, curator of "Via Negativa," has asked us to be part of an artist talk for the 2015 October 1st Thursday event along with Debra Scacco and Christian Tedeschi. Hope to see you all there! Should be a good event.
While Curt and I will not be able to make it for the opening, the show looks great and I hope you get a chance to see it! Curt has been collaborating with artist Amy Alexander on her new project Percussive Image Gesture System (PIGS) which debuts tonight at 5pm at the Calit2 theater at UCSD.
Join us for the opening of "Response" down at S4A. For the show we were asked to respond to the physical space of S4A and also to the other artists working in our gallery area. We made a large antenna drawing titled "Dreamcatcher" tracing a gallery wall that you can then listen to, getting a sense of the continuous stream of information that passes through the gallery walls each day.
